Principal & Co-Founder 

Jeremy graduated from Texas A&M University in 2011 with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering and from the University of Denver in 2022 with a Masters in Business Administration (Executive MBA program).  Jeremy started investing in real estate in early 2014 with his first short term rental in Corpus Christi, TX. He has since managed a large scale flip in San Antonio, TX. Jeremy co-founded Crown Capital Resources, LLC (formerly AL Group Investments, LLC) in 2016. He  has served an integral role in property evaluation, business expansion, networking, managing business financials, and raising capital. Jeremy is extremely passionate about private lending and business development. 

Principal & Co-Founder

David graduated from Texas A&M University in 2010 with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering and in 2012 with a M.E. in Petroleum Engineering. David started investing in hard money loans in 2010 and purchased his first rental property in 2013. David co-founded Crown Capital Resources, LLC (formerly AL Group Investments, LLC) in 2016. He leverages his expertise in oil & gas property evaluation and forecasting to help evaluate and make recommendations on potential investment opportunities. 

Loan Originator

Hassan graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Global Leadership. He began investing in real estate in 2018 with his first long-term rental property in California. Since then, he has completed numerous fix-and-flip projects and built a growing rental portfolio in San Antonio, Texas. Hassan joined Crown Capital Resources as a Loan Officer, where he leverages his hands-on experience as an investor to help clients identify and secure the best financing solutions for their real estate projects. His practical understanding of property acquisition, renovation, and asset management allows him to guide borrowers with clarity and confidence.

 Account Manager

Abby Barefield is a detail-oriented professional with a diverse background in customer service, data management, and technology. Known for her strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, she excels at fostering client relationships and resolving conflicts.

Previously a Customer Service Specialist at a Texas Appraisal District, Abby developed expertise in property assessments and client engagement. Her psychology background enhances her ability to understand and meet client needs.

Portfolio Manager 

Debra Mills is a seasoned professional with more than a decade of experience supporting executive leadership, driving business growth, and building long-term client relationships. Known for her strategic mindset, operational discipline, and ability to manage complex responsibilities, Debra brings a results-oriented approach to every role she undertakes.

She has spent over 13 years at Maximum Tubular Makeups, where she has served as Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer while also playing a key role in sales and business development. In these roles, Debra has supported executive decision-making, managed high-level priorities, and contributed directly to revenue growth by expanding services into new territories and securing multi-million-dollar contracts. Her ability to cultivate trust with clients and stakeholders has resulted in strong account retention and repeat business.

Previously, Debra served as Senior Sales Manager at Tenacious Torque, where she identified new business opportunities, negotiated complex contracts, and worked closely with clients to deliver high-quality service in demanding environments. She is comfortable in client-facing roles and brings strong skills in relationship management, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Debra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Multi-/Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA.
